Avalon Bay FS300 Vacuum Sealer Reviews

The Avalon Bay FS300 Vacuum Sealer is a value priced vacuum sealer that has many of the features you usually only find in higher priced models. It's a mid-sized, unit not as large as many of the other models, but it's probably too big to store away unless you have a lot of storage space. It does have on-board bag roll storage, but it can only use the small rolls. This model has different food modes, and a pulse seal, which is generally something you only find in the more expensive models. This model is very similar to the Crenova VS100S.

There are a few negative aspects about this model you want to be aware of, the first is that it can only accommodate 8" wide bags and rolls. Vacuum Sealer Bags come in two widths 8" and 11", this model can only work with 8" wide bags. Secondly while this model has on-board bag storage, it can only accommodate rolls with a small diameter, or rolls that are 20ft or less. Shorter rolls are generally more expensive than longer rolls. The quality here was about average, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. If you're in the market for something that's a higher quality check out the NutriChef PKVS18SL model.
