We have a hard time recommending this model as a good choice for anyone. We feel the NutriChef PKVS18SL , which is available for nearly the same price, and is a lot higher quality, is a much better choice.

Freshlocker VS160S Review
The Freshlocker VS160S Vacuum Sealer is a Budget Priced Vacuum Sealer that's best suited for occasional use only. Operation is fairly simple you place the bag along the sealing bar, lock it in place and press the vacuum or seal button. There is on on-board bag roll storage, but their is a bag cutter, something we wish more budget priced models had. There's a button for wet or dry foods, a pulse button for delicate foods, and a canister/container button. There is an accessory port, but you're going to need to purchase and accessory hose if you want to use this model with canisters or containers.
We do have some serious issues with this model, the biggest of which is the overall quality of the item. This model was definitely below average on quality and durability. For the same price you can get the NutriChef PKVS18SL which is our second highest rated model, and is a lot higher quality. Our next complaint is the lack of on-board bag storage, and we aren't big fans of the manual sealing process either. We're hard pressed to recommend this model when there are other similarly priced options that are a much better value.
