The Slaiya Sous Vide was one of the smaller budget minded models we looked at, while it has some good points it also had some quality concerns.

When we were reviewing, sous vide machines we tried look at some of the models from the lower price range, and the Slaiya Sous Vide Precision Cooker fits into that category. There were some things we really liked, and some things that concerned us. Ultimately we think you'd be better off with the Wancle Sous Vide SVC001 or the Gourmia Sous Vide GSV138 both of which were higher quality for about the same price.

Slaiya Sous Vide Design and Feel
This model is 16.5" in height which makes this model taller than the average of all the models we reviewed. it has a standard strength housing and a stainless steel tube housing for the heating unit. It has an alligator style clamp, which is easy to set-up and cleanup and put away, but it doesn't off a lot of flexibility for vertical adjustment.

This model puts out 850 watts of power, which is below average for the models we reviewed. It has a flow rate of 2.1 GPM, which is higher than 2.0 GPM average for the models we reviewed. The high flow rate of this model means it will reach it's cooking temperature quicker than the average model we reviewed.

The biggest thing going for this model is it's budget pricing. There are a few other Budget Priced Sous Vide machines we recommend the Wancle Sous Vide SVC001 or the Gourmia Sous Vide GSV138 instead.
